INTEGRITY: THE MOST IMPORTANT CRITERION FOR A CIVIL SERVANT
Integrity: The Most Important Criterion for a Civil Servant Corruption is not merely a violation of the law; it undermines public trust in government institutions, infringes upon the rights of those who work honestly, and erodes societal justice. Consequently, a meeting dedicated to anti-corruption efforts was held at the Main Directorate of Construction and Housing-Communal Services of the Samarkand Region, attended by the entire staff. During the meeting, M. Begimov, the Main Directorate’s chief specialist for internal anti-corruption control, briefed employees on significant amendments introduced by Law No. ORQ-1155. This law aims to ensure the inevitability of liability for corruption-related offenses. Specifically, the session covered the maintenance of a special electronic registry of individuals who have committed such crimes and the application of various statutory restrictions to those listed in the registry.
