In Uzbekistan, orphans who have reached the age of 18 and are in need of housing are provided with new housing free of charge

The President noted that the issue of providing housing to young people in need will be taken over by a commission headed by the Prime Minister and the first Deputy Prosecutor General.

The president announced that the system of state support for graduates of orphanages will be further improved, including free allocation of newly built housing to orphaned children under the age of 18 who need housing.

"For this purpose, 757 children will be directed to purchase housing for 120 billion soums from the budget this year. Its 50 percent is Republican, the remaining 50 percent is given from the local budget.

The governors of the region provide housing to 757 orphaned children by 1 October. With the housing of such graduates, the governors have not been engaged so far, it will be the same truth if we say so.

The commission, headed by the prime minister and the first place of the prosecutor general, is formed and personally supervises the provision of Housing to young people in need of affection.

Within a month, it is also necessary to meet with 610 young people, who were previously indicated as allocated housing, to determine the need for additional housing and to provide them with full compensation for rent payments in the current year," the head of state said.

It has been reported that the scholarship of iqtidor students deprived of orphan or parental care will be increased by 50 percent. The period of payment of a pension to students who leave their parents is from the current age of 18 to 23 years. These students are given a subsidy of 1.2 million soums once a year to buy the necessary literature.

"Our reforms to support and treat children with disabilities will continue to be accelerated. For these purposes, from August 1, an additional 100 billion soums will be allocated from the budget. In particular, for 2 thousand children, 4 thousand modern hearing aids worth 10 billion rubles will be purchased. Special implants will be installed to 615 deaf and hearing-impaired children under the age of 5 years, contributing to 45 billion soums of hearing.

2 thousand with congenital heart defects, 1 thousand with changes in the brain and 1.7 thousand children with diseases of movement members will undergo free surgical operations, 1 thousand of them will be provided with prosthetics and other necessary equipment (a total of 30 billion soums will be allocated to this).

In addition, this year 1 thousand 100 children with limited mobility will be provided with electric armchairs (10 billion soums).

In the next 5 years, another 12 thousand children with disabilities will be provided with these carriages. In addition, complex surgical operations abroad for orphan children are fully compensated from the budget," the head of state said.
